Ed Healy

Hi, I'm Ed Healy, Project Leader for the Gamerati.

I am a problem solver for game businesses. Many publishers do not have the tools or expertise in house to reach new customers and business partners as effectively as they'd like. This is where I help - by creating services to fill unmet needs, or consulting to help businesses more efficiencely use those resoures they do have. Business is a game. Some of the rules are written in stone - laws, for instance - and must be followed. Others are more maliable, and playing within those rules to help businesses craft a strategy for success is where I add value. I have been a tabltop game publisher, co-founding Eden Studios. I have developed business communities, founding The Forge, a wesite for creator-owned game publishers. I have sales experience, establishing the advertising department at Kobold Quarterly, the most popular print magazine serving the tabletop RPG market. I manage the largest online advertising network of independent hobby game websites, and a radio station that plays in over 150 brick and mortar game stores. I am an award-winner podcaster, with four years of experience delivering proven business value for my customers and clients. I am a promoter, having produced a North American tour of game stores. And I am a consultant, giving advise and executing campaigns for publishers in the hobby game, video game, and console game markets.
